BOOKING POLICY
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
By booking an appointment with House of Pigmentation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Booking Policy. This policy is in place to ensure client safety, proper scheduling, and protection of business operations.
1. APPOINTMENT BOOKINGS
All appointments must be booked through our official booking system or authorized booking channels.
By scheduling an appointment, you agree that all information provided is accurate and complete.
House of Pigmentation reserves the right to refuse, reschedule, or cancel any appointment at its discretion.
2. RETAINERS & PAYMENTS
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all appointments.
Retainers are applied toward your final service balance but are non-transferable to other individuals or services unless explicitly approved by House of Pigmentation.
Failure to complete payment or comply with booking requirements may result in cancellation of your appointment.
3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
We require a minimum of 4 days notice for cancellations or rescheduling, excluding Bridal/ Special Event Contracts.
Failure to provide proper notice will result in:
- Forfeiture of your retainer
- Possible additional cancellation fees
- Requirement of a new retainer to rebook
No-shows will be charged in full for the scheduled service and may be restricted from future bookings.
Repeated cancellations or reschedules may result in denial of future services.
4. LATE ARRIVALS
Clients are expected to arrive on time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or canceled depending on scheduling availability.
Full service fees may still apply if the appointment cannot be completed due to lateness.
5. CONSULTATIONS POLICY
Consultations are conducted on the same day immediately prior to your scheduled appointment.
During this consultation, your artist will assess your skin, goals, and suitability for the service.
If you are unsure whether you are a candidate for a service, or if you have special circumstances including but not limited to:
- Previous permanent makeup
- Large or complex scars
- Skin conditions or medical concerns
- Corrective work or paramedical cases
You must contact us before booking at 215-274-0366 so we can review your concerns and request clear photos if necessary. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in cancellation of your appointment and forfeiture of your retainer.
6. NUMBING POLICY
For your safety and optimal results, House of Pigmentation has a strict numbing policy.
Clients are strictly prohibited from applying any numbing creams, lidocaine, or topical anesthetics before their appointment.
We provide professional-grade topical anesthetics during your service to ensure comfort and safe application.
If a client arrives having used any numbing agents prior to their appointment:
- The appointment will be immediately canceled
- The cancellation policy will apply
- The retainer will be forfeited
- A new retainer will be required to rebook
This policy is in place because pre-applied numbing agents can affect skin integrity, pigment retention, and service safety.
7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY & DISCLOSURE
Clients are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical history, skin conditions, medications, allergies, previous cosmetic procedures, and any other factors that may affect service outcomes.
Failure to disclose accurate information may result in refusal of service without refund.
8. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
House of Pigmentation reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or reschedule any service if:
- Client safety is a concern
- Medical contraindications are present
- Policy violations occur
- Incomplete or false information is provided
- Pre-treatment instructions are not followed
9. POLICY AGREEMENT
By booking an appointment with House of Pigmentation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Booking Policy in full.
Violation of any portion of this policy may result in cancellation of services, forfeiture of payments, and restriction from future bookings.
